The HER Outdoors week Benbulben Guided Hike aims to celebrate and encourage more females to get out and enjoy the benefits of hiking and being in the outdoors while bringing visibility to the opportunities for females to get involved in outdoor physical activity.
This Hike is all about providing more opportunities for ALL females to escape to the outdoors and try something new. Sligo has some really amazing Iconic mountains and routes to hike and this should be celebrated to the fullest!
Hike the majestic Benbulben mountain whilst meeting new friends and trying something new.
HER Outdoors Week is back from August 10th - 18th and the hike will take place on Sunday the 18th at 11am
What to bring?
Appropriate outdoor clothing necessary.
Example: Boots/appropriate hiking footwear, waterproof jacket/leggings, insulating layers. No denims. Water and snacks.
- Hike the famous table top mountain of Benbulben in County Sligo.
- Suitable for anyone with a basic level of fitness, a keen attitude and an adventurous nature.
- Allow 4 hours for hike.
Lukes bridge, Grange, Sligo

Experienced and fully qualified Mountain Leader
Hikers may not be allowed to join group if not dressed appropriately for mountainous terrain.
Striclty no dogs.
