Errigal Mountain Hike
The highest mountain in Donegal and one of Irelands most photographed peaks, Errigal is famous for its triangular shape and its tiny twin summits. Our hike will begin in the famous Poisoned Glen of Dunlewey and we will make our way up the south east ridge along the new trail and steps until we reach the high outpost of the Glover Cairn. A quick rest here while taking in the views over Lough Altan, the remaining “Seven Sisters” mountains and the Derryveigh Mountains before our final short push to stand atop of Errigal's twin peak summit.
This is a short but moderate grade hike with steep and exposed sections along the route.
This is a moderate grade hike will see you climb over 520 meters, walk 7km lasting roughly 4 hours.

Appropriate outdoor clothing necessary.
Eg : Boots/appropriate hiking footwear, waterproof jacket & leggings, insulation layers. No denims.
